In May 2017 InSIS visitor, Dr Stefan Schӓfer, was interviewed for an episode of Professor Myanna Dellinger's "Global Energy & Environmental Law Podcast". In this podcast, titled 'The Logic and Controversies of Geoengineering', Stefan presented his views on the pros and cons of the ever-controversial, but, in his view, also promising aspects of climate geoengineering.

Geoengineering Research: Where Next?
On 26 November 2014 three climate geoengineering projects funded by RCUK - Climate Geoengineering Governance (CGG), the Integrated Assessment of Geoengineering Proposals (IAGP), and Stratospheric Particle Injection for Climate Engineering (SPICE) held a joint dissemination day at the Royal Society in London entitled 'Geoengineering Research: Where Next?'. Climate Engineering Conference (CEC14)
The CEC14 conference took place on 18-21 August 2014 in Berlin and Rayner contributed to the panel discussion on 'The Past Decade of Climate Engineering Research', the lunchtime discussion on 'Will Climate Engineering Unduly Hinder Emissions Reductions? Discussing the "Moral Hazard"', and the session on 'Climate Emergency: Science, Framing, and Politics'.
